Merge Delivery Orders
Combine multiple transfers into one clean delivery in a few clicks
The Merge Delivery Orders module helps you consolidate transfer orders for the same customer and operation type. Reduce clutter, keep shipping data centralized, and speed up warehouse processing without changing your standard Odoo flow.
Key Features
- Merge multiple delivery orders into a single destination order.
- Select the destination delivery order from the wizard.
- Cancel or delete the source delivery orders after merge.
- Preserve origins and chatter messages for traceability.
- Works with draft, waiting, and ready transfers.
How It Works
- Go to Inventory -> Operations -> Delivery Orders.
- Select two or more delivery orders to merge.
- Click Action -> Merge Delivery Orders.
- Choose the destination order and confirm.
Access & Permissions
The merge action is controlled by the security group Allow merging delivery orders. Assign it to users who should be able to merge delivery orders.
Important Warnings
- Delivery orders must share the same picking type.
- Delivery orders must have the same partner.
- Orders in Done or Cancel state cannot be merged.
