Stock Validation

Description

This module is configured to create an invoice with the original shipping method from the sale order and warehouse in the operation type of the transfer and then post it when the DO is validated. Additionally, the warehouse can be edited in the invoice by a group.

Configuration

Go to Settings -  - > Users & Companies - - > Users.

Select any user where the boolean “Can Edit Invoice Warehouse” is created under the access rights of the user.

Functionality

After installing the Stock Validation application, the feature will be enabled.

Go to Sales. Create a sale order and confirm it.

Once we validate the delivery order, it will automatically create and post an invoice.

Also, the related invoice number is mentioned under the Additional Info tab of the delivery order.

The “Warehouse” and “Delivery Order” are set on this invoice by this flow, as shown below.

When the boolean “Can Edit Invoice Warehouse” is enabled, we will be able to edit the “Warehouse and Delivery Order” fields for the invoice.

Note: For the backend order, it will also create an invoice for the corresponding delivery order.
