Configure Moneris in Odoo

Configure the credentials of Moneris in the Odoo Moneris Payment Provider

Moneris Checkout & Odoo Configuration

To enable automatic Authorize & Capture transactions, the "Purchase" option in the Moneris checkout configuration should be selected.

Note: If you have selected the "Purchase" option from Moneris, then disable the "Manually Capture" flow on the Odoo Moneris Provider.

For Authorize & Pending capture transactions, select "Preauthorization" option in Moneris Checkout configuration.

Note: If you select "Preauthorization" option in Moneris Checkout configuration, then in Configuration tab, in Payment Form select the "Capture Amount Manually".

For Save Tokenization, select "Tokenization Card" option in Moneris Checkout Configuration.

Note:If you select "Tokenization Card" Option from Moneris, then select "Allow Saving Payment Methods" option in Odoo Moneris Provider.

eCommerce Order Transaction

In Odoo eCommerce website payment check-out page, select Moneris payment provider and click on "Pay Now" button, the system will open Moneris Checkout wizard for making payment.

Fill card details and click on "Checkout" button.

The transaction will be processed on Odoo side

Moneris side will approve payment transaction.

On Odoo side successful transaction details can be viewed in Provider Reference (Transaction number). If the transaction is not successful then the Provider Reference (Transaction number) will not be visible.

Save Payment Method

Select "Save my payment details" while making payment using Moneris Payment Provider and click on "Pay" button, a payment token will be generated after the transaction is successfully done on the Moneris side

Payment Using Tokenization

In Pay with wizard, select payment token and click on "Pay" button

The transaction will be successfully processed on Odoo side

In Pay with wizard, select payment token and click on "Pay" button

Go to the authorized transaction sale order and click on the "Capture Transaction" button to manually capture the transaction

Go to the Moneris captured transaction sale order and click on the "Void Transaction" button to cancel the transaction.
