Integration of Square Payment Providers with Odoo

Square is a U.S.-based payment gateway that enables merchants to accept card and ACH payments through their website or over an internet connection.

This module enables portal customers to make payments using Square as the payment provider. It supports payment methods such as Cards and ACH, along with features like Refunds, Authorization and Capture, and Cancel/Void transactions.

Configuration of Square Side

Configure your Square account and take the access token, location, and application id from Square.

Configure Square credentials.

Customer Invoice Payment

Portal Customers can pay their invoices through Square Card payment by clicking on the "Pay Now" button.

Fill card details and click on "Pay" button.

The transaction will be processed on the odoo side.

The transaction is approved on the square side.

On Odoo's side, successful transaction details can be viewed in Provider Reference (Transaction number). If the transaction is not successful then the Provider Reference (Transaction number) will not be visible.

You can also add items to your cart and make payments directly through the website.

Save Payment Method

Select "Save my payment details" while making payment using Square Payment Provider and click on "Pay" button, a payment token will be generated after the transaction is successfully done on the Square side.

Payment Using Tokenization

Select payment token and click on "Pay" button.

The transaction will be successfully processed on Odoo side.

Fill card details and click on "Save" button for save card in Odoo.

Payent using ACH

Configure ACH Payment Method.

Fill the 'Name' and 'Family Name' and Click on "Pay Now" button for proceeding payment in Odoo.

Plaid window will appear to guide you through quick verification process for verifying a buyer's bank account before making an ACH payment.

Select the bank you want to use for this transaction.

Log in to your selected bank and complete the required steps.

Select saved bank, then Continue.

Transaction will be processed on Odoo side.

On Odoo's side, successful transaction details can be viewed in Provider Reference (Transaction number).

The bank transaction is approved on square side.
