How It Works
Follow these steps to manage your tailoring operations end-to-end.
Step 1: Configure Measurements & Products
Navigate to Tailor → Configuration. Define your measurement templates per garment type (e.g. Shirt, Trouser, Blouse). Each template drives the measurement input lines in every order automatically.
Step 2: Set Up Bill of Materials
Go to Tailor → Bill of Materials and define the required fabrics and accessories for each product. The BoM will be used to automatically reserve and consume stock when an order is confirmed.
Step 3: Create a Tailor Order
Go to Tailor → Orders and create a new order. Select the customer, choose garment products, and enter the customer's measurements. Add delivery deadlines and assign a tailor if needed. Confirm the order to move it into production.
Step 4: Consume Materials from Inventory
On order confirmation, a Material Transfer is automatically created and validated to consume the required fabrics and accessories from your warehouse stock, keeping inventory up to date in real time.
Step 5: Track Production via Project
A linked Project task is created for each order. Monitor production stages — from cutting to stitching to finishing — in the Kanban view under Project. Keep your team aligned on deadlines.
Step 6: Deliver & Send to Customer Portal
Once the garment is ready, mark the order as Done. A Delivery Order is automatically generated for the finished goods. Optionally send the order to the customer via portal for approval before delivery.
Step 7: Invoice the Customer
Use the Create Invoice button directly on the tailor order to generate and open the invoice. The invoice button automatically hides once all products are fully invoiced, preventing duplicate billing.
