About This Module
Apply percentage discounts to all order lines that belong to a specific POS category â in one tap. Rules can require a manager PIN for approval, making it safe for promotions without giving cashiers free rein.
- Configure multiple discount rules per category (e.g. Food 10%, Electronics 5%)
- Optional manager PIN per rule
- 🏷 Category Discount button in the POS left panel
- Discount applied instantly to all matching lines
- Rules managed in Point of Sale → Category Discounts

Configuration Steps
- Go to Point of Sale → Category Discounts.
- Click New and create a rule: set the Name, POS Category, and Discount %.
- Enable Require Manager PIN if approval is needed, then set the PIN in POS Settings.
- In the POS, add products to an order, then tap 🏷 Category Discount.
- Select the rule and enter the PIN if required. All matching lines are discounted instantly.
