About This Module
Know exactly what's in stock â right from the POS product grid. This module overlays a live stock badge on every product card, color-coded by availability level. Cashiers can instantly see which products are low or out of stock without leaving the POS screen.
- Green badge â healthy stock (more than 5 units)
- Yellow badge â low stock (1â5 units remaining)
- Red badge â out of stock (0 units)
- No configuration required â installs and works automatically
- Respects Odoo's existing stock tracking settings
- Runs entirely in the POS frontend â zero extra server calls

POS Product Grid â Stock Badges
How It Works
- Install the module â no configuration needed.
- Make sure your products have stock tracking enabled in Odoo Inventory.
- In your POS configuration, enable "Display Available Quantity in POS" so the
qty_availablefield is loaded. - Open the POS â each product card now shows a coloured stock badge at its bottom-left corner.
- The badge updates automatically each time the POS session is loaded.
