TDS Bulk Scrap
Scrap every product of a transfer — or many transfers — in one click
Odoo scraps products one at a time: for a transfer with many lines you reopen the Scrap window for every product, re-entering product, quantity, source, scrap location and reason each time. TDS Bulk Scrap lists every product of the selected transfer(s) in one dialog — tick what to scrap, set quantities, choose one scrap location and reason, and validate the whole batch.
📦 One dialog, every product
Every scrappable product of the selected transfer(s) appears as an editable line: toggle which to scrap (all on by default), set the quantity, done — for one transfer or many selected together.
🔍 Full traceability
Each line keeps its own transfer as the scrap's Source Document, so every scrapped item is traceable back to the exact transfer it came from — ideal for audits.
🛡️ Atomic & safe
Everything is validated first — positive quantities, locations, tracked-product lots and an aggregate on-hand check. If anything is wrong, nothing is scrapped and one message lists every issue.
How it works
1 — Select transfer(s) → Actions → Bulk Scrap
Tick one or more transfers in the list and open Actions → Bulk Scrap (or use the Bulk Scrap button in a transfer's header).
2 — Review the lines & validate
Toggle which products to scrap, adjust the quantity per line (pre-filled from the transfer), pick one Scrap Location and a Scrap Reason for the batch, then click Validate Scrap.
3 — Done, with a clean audit trail
One validated scrap order is created per line, each keeping its transfer as Source Document.
