Why You Need This Module
Standard Odoo does not offer per-user warehouse restrictions. Here are the challenges this module solves for you:
Access Boundaries
In standard Odoo, any inventory user can see ALL warehouses and locations. This module lets you assign specific warehouses to each user.
Error Prevention
Without restrictions, users can accidentally process transfers for the wrong branch. This module makes wrong warehouses invisible to them.
Data Security
Sensitive stock data is normally visible to all inventory staff. This module enforces record-level security rules per user.

Warehouse Restrictions
Assign specific warehouses to each user. They will only see the warehouses they are authorized to access â perfect for multi-branch businesses.
Location Restrictions
Go deeper and restrict access to specific stock locations within warehouses. Includes parent/child location hierarchy support.
Operation Type Restrictions
Control which picking operations each user can access â Receipts, Delivery Orders, Internal Transfers, Manufacturing, and more.
How It Works
Simple 3-step setup â no technical knowledge required
Add User to Group
Go to Settings â Users, select the user, and add them to the "Warehouse Access Restrictions" security group.
Enable Restriction Toggles
A new "Warehouse Access Restrictions" tab appears. Enable the toggles you need â warehouse, location, or operation type.
Select Allowed Records
Pick the specific warehouses, locations, or operations the user should access. Everything else becomes invisible to them.

Independent Toggles
Each restriction type (Warehouse, Location, Operation Type) has its own ON/OFF toggle. When a toggle is OFF, the corresponding rules are safely bypassed â no accidental lockouts.
Smart Auto-Populate
When you select warehouses and enable location restrictions, the module automatically suggests the warehouse stock locations â saving time and preventing misconfiguration.
Multi-Company Ready
All selection fields are filtered by the user's allowed companies, ensuring clean data separation across multiple companies.
Scrap Order Protection
Scrap orders are also restricted by location, preventing unauthorized users from creating scrap records for locations outside their access.
