PayFast Payment Option on the Odoo Website
On the payment page, select the PayFast Payment Acquirer and click on the Pay Now button.
Your customer can choose PayFast as the payment method during website checkout or when paying an online invoice. The PayFast logo appears alongside the payment option for easy identification.
Make Payment
Payment Processing at the PayFast Payment Gateway
After clicking on Pay Now, you will be redirected to the PayFast payment page. Select the payment method you want to use to make the payment (normally wallet, card, or Instant EFT) and complete the payment.
PayFast handles all sensitive payment data on their secure servers. Odoo receives a real-time confirmation once the transaction is successful.
Order Confirmed
Payment Success after Confirmation
Once the payment is made, the order is confirmed automatically in Odoo. The customer is redirected back to your website with a payment success message and the sales order or invoice is marked as paid.
Order in PayFast Dashboard
Sandbox Test Transaction
After a successful sandbox payment, the transaction appears in your PayFast sandbox dashboard under ITNs and Transactions.
You can verify the payment status, order reference, gross amount, fees, and net amount for each test transaction. Completed ITNs confirm that Odoo received the payment notification successfully.
