Google Drive Integration

Connect Odoo to Google Drive with secure OAuth 2.0 and send every file to the exact folder you choose — from the chatter, any image field. A live Drive Dashboard shows every folder, file count and your storage usage, without ever leaving Odoo.

Configure Drive access with your Google Cloud credentials

1. Under Settings → Google Drive Integration, enter your OAuth 2.0 Client ID and Secret. The Redirect URI is auto-computed from your base URL and shown read-only so you can copy it straight into Google. The numbered Setup Instructions are provided right on the page.
2. This Configuration can also be done in google drive module from Configuration Menu.

Connected — with account & storage at a glance

Once authorized, a green Connected badge appears with the linked Drive account, token expiry, last-synced time and a live Storage Used bar. Sync Folders refreshes everything; Revoke Access disconnects safely anytime.

The Drive Dashboard — total folder visibility

Every Google Drive folder as its own card: file count, total size, and how many were uploaded from Odoo. Jump into any folder in Drive or list the Odoo records tied to it. Switch to graph or list view anytime.

“Upload to Drive” — right inside the chatter

On any record with a chatter, every attachment gets an Upload to Drive action next to Download. Shown here on a CRM lead — it works identically on Sales, Purchase, Invoicing, HR, Fleet, Contacts and your custom apps, with zero per-app setup.

Pick the destination folder before uploading

The signature step: a popup where you choose the exact Drive Folder (full searchable paths, or My Drive root), optionally rename the file for Drive, and confirm. A Sync Folders shortcut is built right into the dialog.

Every uploaded file stays fully tracked

Each file keeps its Drive File ID, a clickable Drive Link, and the exact Drive Folder it lives in — with a one-click Open in Google Drive button and a clear “stored in Google Drive” banner.

One list of everything in Google Drive

The Files in Google Drive view gathers every uploaded file in one place — name, destination folder, size, who uploaded it and when — a single, searchable record for the whole team.
