Pinned Records Panel
A searchable quick-access bar above every list, form, and kanban view. Pin cards show record name, color label, and model icon. Search by name or note, drag to reorder by priority, click to open, or double-click to scroll to the row in list view.
Pin Button in List View
A dedicated pin column on every list row lets users pin or unpin with one click. Select multiple rows and use Pin Selected or Unpin Selected for bulk actions. Press P as a keyboard shortcut for fast pinning.

Form View Pin Button
When enabled in Settings, a Pin button appears in the form header next to the action menu. Toggle between Pin and Pinned instantly without leaving the record. The pinned panel also shows above the form for quick access to related pins.
Kanban Pin Support
Pin important cards directly from kanban views such as CRM Leads, Tasks, and Projects. A pin icon on each card toggles the record in and out of your pinned set. Enable kanban pinning independently from list and form views in Settings.
Mobile Responsive Layout
The pinned panel adapts to phones and tablets with horizontal swipeable cards and a touch-friendly layout. Pin buttons remain accessible on smaller screens so field teams can pin and open records on the go.
Settings & Model Configuration
Central control under Settings â Record Pin for max pins, auto-expiration, recent records, global pins, suggestions, and reminders. Toggle list, form, and kanban views independently. Use Sync Models to register new custom models automatically.
Pin Groups & Dashboard
Organize pins into logical groups such as INVOICE, Sales, or VIP Customers. Set group sequence, mark groups as global for team sharing, and see all pins inside each group with color tags and open counts. Managers get a full overview of what the team has pinned.
Pin History
A complete audit log of every pin, unpin, and open action. Filter by user, model, or date to review workflow changes. History also powers the Recent and Suggested sections in the pinned panel based on how often records are accessed.
Model Configuration
Control which Odoo models allow pinning. Enable or disable models individually, assign Font Awesome icons ( Sales, Invoice, Contact), and set category labels. Disabled models hide all pin UI and block new pins for that model.
User Level Access
Two security groups under the Record Pin category: User for personal pins, groups, and history; Manager for global pins, model configuration, and module settings. Assign from Settings â Users â Access Rights.
