Language Switcher puts a globe menu in the Odoo top bar. Changing the interface language normally means opening Preferences, finding the Language field, saving and waiting for a reload — four clicks too many for a team that works in two languages every day. This module lists every active language next to the notifications icon, marks the one in use, and applies the change to the logged-in user instantly.

A globe, right where you look
The widget sits in the systray beside notifications and the user avatar, showing the current language as a two-letter badge.
The current language is always visible, without opening anything.
One menu
Every active language, nothing else
The dropdown lists only the languages actually installed and active on the database, each with its native name, and ticks the one in use.

Choosing an RTL language re-renders the whole interface mirrored, the same way Odoo does from Preferences.

Frequently asked questions
Does it affect other users?
No. It writes the language to the logged-in user record only, which is a preference every user is allowed to change for themselves.
Which languages appear in the menu?
Only languages that are installed and active on the database. Activate a language the normal way and it appears in the list immediately.
Does it work on Odoo Community?
Yes. It depends only on the web module, so it runs on both Community and Enterprise.
Does it add anything to my database?
No server model, no configuration record and no scheduled action. The module is a frontend widget and nothing more.
Is Arabic properly supported?
Yes. Choosing an RTL language mirrors the whole interface, and the widget itself mirrors with it.
