🚀 Quick Setup Guide
Create a Telegram Bot
Open Telegram and search for @BotFather. Send /newbot and follow the
instructions to create your bot. Copy the API token.
Configure in Odoo
Go to CRM → Configuration → Settings. Find the "Telegram Lead Bot" section and paste your bot token.
Generate Webhook
Click "Generate Webhook" to create a unique URL. Then click "Set Webhook" to activate.
Configure Defaults
Select the default Sales Team and Salesperson for new leads. Customize welcome messages if needed.
Share Your Bot
Share your bot link (e.g., t.me/YourBotName) with customers. Leads will be created
automatically!
📋 How It Works
- Customer opens your Telegram bot and sends
/start - Bot sends welcome message and requests phone number
- Customer shares their contact (optional)
- Customer writes their inquiry
- Lead is created in Odoo CRM automatically
- Assigned salesperson receives notification
- Salesperson can reply via Telegram from within Odoo
