ClickSendSMS - Odoo Integration

Seamless integration of ClickSend SMS services with Odoo enabling SMS notifications and messaging directly from the Contacts module.

Library to install

Ensure the python-docx library is installed before installing the module. If it is not installed, you can use the command below to install it.

pip install clicksend-client

ClickSend SMS Configuration

Login to ClickSend SMS, then navigate to Developer options and select API Credentials. There, you will find your username and API key. Copy both username and key.

To Configure ClickSend SMS in Odoo credentials in Odoo, navigate to Settings menu under the configuration tab in ClickSend SMS.

Paste the API key and Username and save the form.

Then click on Test Connection.You will receive a response as shown below

Send SMS via ClickSend SMS gate

To send SMS from partner form, navigate to Contacts, then click on Send SMS on the top of the form.

When you click the button, a wizard will open, allowing you to send a message.

Once the message is sent successfully, you will receive a response as shown below.

Send SMS for multiple partners

Select the partners to send SMS and click the Send SMS button via ClickSendSMS.

When you click the button, a wizard will open, allowing you to send a message for multiple partners

From ClickSend SMS Menu

Navigate to the menu then create a new one

To Individual Member

Inorder to send SMS to an individual, choose the option and click Send SMS button

To Multiple Partners

Inorder to send SMS to multiple partners, choose the option and click Send SMS button

To Single/Multiple Contact List

Inorder to send SMS to multiple partners, choose the option and click Send SMS button

Response after sending SMS

Count of Sent and Bounce message can be seen on the top of the page

Contact List

To create Contact List , go to ClickSend SMS and click Contact List menu from the Contacts tab

You can name the contact list and add its members.
