Warranty Management Module
When a customer submits a ticket on Odoo Helpdesk, it links them to their ticket. The system automatically finds the linked warranty record and populates it in the Warranty Management tab on the ticket displaying the Products, Serial Numbers, Sales Order, Sales Order Line, Delivery Note, Return dates, and Product Location. Support agents can see valid warranty information for tickets against specific products and know which items have claims in order memory all without leaving Helpdesk.

Warranty Status Tracking
Displays a clear In Warranty or Expired Warranty badge, automatically calculated from the warranty period and start date.
One-Click Claim Initiation
Click Claim Warranty, enter an issue description, and the system instantly creates a Claim linked to the warranty record.
Record Locking & Unlock Control
Warranty records get locked by default. Staff with the Warranty Unlock access right enabled under Users & Access Rights can unlock a record to make changes; users without the permission cannot unlock preventing unauthorised edits.

Centralised Warranty Overview
The Warranty Management list view shows all records in one place customer name, product, serial number, warranty dates, sale order reference, and current stage making it easy to instantly see which products are active, in service, or inactive.
Downloadable Warranty Certificate
Each warranty generates a unique serial number. Customers can visit the company website, enter their serial number in the Warranty section, and instantly download a professionally formatted Warranty Certificate PDF no login required. The certificate includes warranty number, product, serial number, dates, terms & conditions, claim process, support procedure, and service timelines.
Warranty Configuration
Admins can fully customise the certificate contents via the Warranty Configuration menu in the Warranty Management module including Warranty Terms & Conditions, Claim Process, Support Procedure, Service Timelines, How to Raise a Claim, and the Report Header & Footer shown on the printed certificate.
Helpdesk Integration
Warranty data is accessible directly from Odoo Helpdesk. When a customer is selected on a support ticket, their warranted product serial number, warranty dates, sale order, and product details is auto-populated in a dedicated Warranty Management tab. No switching apps; support agents have full context in one place.
