Key Features
Captures the federally required new-hire data set
employer FEIN, employer name and address; employee SSN, name and address; date of hire and state of hire; plus the optional fields some states request (dependent medical insurance availability, employee date of birth and state of birth).
State New-Hire Directory reference
a maintained table of all 50 states plus the District of Columbia, each with its reporting-window (deadline in days), submission method, the official directory URL and the agency name.
Real due-date math
the report due date is computed from the hire date plus the state's own reporting window, not a flat 20 days. Records past their due date that are still unreported are flagged Overdue.
Status workflow
every new-hire record moves To Report -> Reported, stamping the date reported and an optional confirmation reference.
Batch CSV export
export every outstanding (To Report) record, or just one state's records, to a clean CSV that you submit yourself to the state directory portal. SSNs can optionally be masked in the export preview.
Daily overdue scan
a scheduled action re-flags overdue records so your dashboard always reflects reality.

Under the federal PRWORA mandate every US employer must report each newly hired or rehired employee to their state's New-Hire Directory, generally within 20 days of the hire date (some states allow less). This module is the worksheet that gets you organised and on time.
