Petty-Approval via Email/Mobile (US DOA) — one-tap approve or reject pending approvals from your inbox or phone with a tamper-evident delegation-of-authority audit trail
Key Features
One-tap approve / reject from email
One-tap approve / reject from email — each pending request emails the approver a secure, single-use link for Approve and for Reject; one tap records the decision, no login required.
Mobile-first decision links
Mobile-first decision links — the same tokenised links work from a phone or tablet browser, so a travelling manager clears the queue from the road.
US Delegation-of-Authority matrix
US Delegation-of-Authority matrix — define authority bands per user, per spending category and per dollar range (min/max), with effective start and end dates.
Travel delegation
Travel delegation — a manager delegates their authority to a delegate for a date window and a dollar cap; requests automatically route to whoever holds the authority right now.
Automatic approver routing
Automatic approver routing — on submit the app finds the correct approver from the authority matrix and any active delegation, honouring category and amount limits.
Auto-approval threshold
Auto-approval threshold — trivial amounts under a per-category limit are auto-approved and still fully logged, so staff are not blocked on petty sums.
Tamper-evident SOX audit log
Tamper-evident SOX audit log — an append-only, hash-chained log of every action (actor, on-behalf-of, channel, device, authority band) that can be verified for integrity at any time.
Escalation on stall
Escalation on stall — a scheduled job escalates or re-notifies approvals that have sat past their category's escalation window.
Single-use, expiring tokens
Single-use, expiring tokens — one-tap links expire and cannot be replayed, and are automatically invalidated once a decision is recorded.
Bulk decisions
Bulk decisions — approve or reject many pending requests at once from the list view with a reason captured on every line.
Full chatter & activities
Full chatter & activities — every request is mail-threaded and can raise an activity for the assigned approver.

Why Choose This Module
Behind that one tap sits a real United States Delegation of Authority (DOA) engine. Each approver has an authority band (which spending categories they may approve and up to what dollar amount). When someone travels they delegate their authority to a colleague for a fixed date range and dollar cap, and the app routes pending items to whoever actually holds the authority at that moment. Every submit, approval, rejection, escalation and delegation is written to an append-only, hash-chained audit log designed as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) delegation-of-authority evidence: it records who acted, on whose behalf, over which channel, from what device, against which authority band, and links each log line to the previous one with a cryptographic hash so tampering is detectable.
