Sign in and link Telegram accounts in Odoo
Features
1Login page button
The module adds the Authorization via Telegram button to the Odoo login page.
A one-time token is generated for your session, and a QR plus a direct link appear for quick launch in Telegram.
3Continue in Telegram
Open the link or scan the QR to land in the bot and confirm authorization.
Once you see “You successfully authorized” in the telegram, the page where the button was clicked or the QR code was scanned (step 1) becomes authorized.

5Linking for Users and Portal
Link your Telegram to an existing account from the portal "My Account" page -> "Edit Information" or from the User form in the backend. The flow is identical: open link / scan QR code → confirm in Telegram.

After clicking on the link, the Telegram account is linked to the user.

Installation
- Install this module together with
us_telegrambase (see its Documentation if needed). - Make sure your Telegram bot is created and reachable (via
@BotFather).
Configuration
In Odoo
- Open
[[ Messengers ]] >> Messengersand select your Telegram bot used for authentication. - Fill in the bot token and public link to your bot (Link on bot).
- Enable the option "Is bot authorizes users".
- Run the bot if required.
Usage
Website login authorization
- On the Odoo login page, click Authorization via Telegram.
- Scan the QR or open the activation link to continue in Telegram.
- Confirm in the bot. You will be signed in and redirected automatically.
Link an existing account
- For regular Users (backend): open
Settings >> Users & Companies >> Users, select a user and click Connect to Telegram. - For Portal users: open My Account page in the website profile and use Connect to Telegram.
- Follow the same flow (QR/link → confirm in Telegram) to link your Telegram.
Token lifecycle
- Token states:
pending,authorized,expired,finished. - If a token is finished or expired, a new one will be generated.
