Delivery Order Return Flow for Repair Products is an Odoo 18 module that customizes the delivery order return process to support products sent for repair. The module adds a Repair checkbox on delivery orders and allows users to initiate a repair flow instead of a standard return. Products marked for repair skip the usual return logistics and automatically generate a repair order linked to the delivery order. Once the repair is completed, users can mark the product as repaired, and the system automatically notifies the customer via email. This streamlines repair handling while maintaining clear traceability between delivery orders, repair orders, and customer communication. The module integrates seamlessly with Odoo’s Sales, Inventory, and Repair workflows.

Repair Delivery Order
If the customer requests a repair, click the Return button on the delivery order and mark the product for repair. Enable the Repair checkbox to indicate the product is being sent for repair instead of return.
Repair Order Creation
A repair order is automatically created and linked to the delivery order. It is directly accessible from the delivery order form view.
Repair Order Details
The repair order contains complete details including product information, source picking, customer data, and repair status.
Mark Product as Repaired
After completing the repair, mark the repair order as Repaired to update its status.
Outgoing Email Server Configuration
Ensure the outgoing email server is configured under Settings → Technical → Email → Outgoing Mail Servers.
Email Notification for Repaired Product
Once the product is marked as repaired, an email notification is automatically sent to the customer.
Direct Repair Order Access from Email
The email includes a smart button allowing direct access to the repair order record.
