Wadic User Chatter
Add chatter to the user form view to track changes, activities, and important updates for better accountability in Odoo 18.
User Chatter is an Odoo 18 module that adds the chatter (messages and activities) to the User form view, enabling complete tracking of important actions performed on user records. The module automatically logs changes such as allowed company updates and boolean access right modifications directly in the chatter. This improves transparency, accountability, and traceability in user management while maintaining a clear audit trail. It integrates seamlessly with Odoo’s user and access management framework.

Access User Records
Navigate to Settings → Users & Companies → Users and open any user record.
User Form View Chatter
The chatter section is added to the user form view. Whenever any value is changed on the user record, the details are automatically logged in the chatter.
Allowed Companies Tracking
Changes to the user’s Allowed Companies are tracked and recorded in the chatter, including updates to company access.
Access Rights Tracking
Changes to boolean access rights on the user record are also logged in the chatter, ensuring visibility of permission updates.
