Access Record in New Tab adds a smart right-click context menu to Odoo's List and Kanban views, allowing users to open any record in a new browser tab or copy the direct record URL instantly. Keep your workflow seamless and multitasking easy.
Features
1) Install the Module
Go to the Odoo Apps menu,
search for Access Record in New Tab
and click Activate.
2) Open records directly from the list view in a new browser tab using right-click functionality. This allows users to review multiple records simultaneously without losing their current position.
3) Open records directly from kanban cards in a new tab for better multitasking. This feature enables users to quickly access details while keeping the dashboard intact. .
It adds a customized context menu (right-click) to Odoo's List and Kanban views, allowing users to open any record in a new tab or copy its direct link instantly.
The module fully supports both List (Tree) views and Kanban views across all standard and custom Odoo modules.
Simply hold down the Shift key while right-clicking to access your browser's native context menu at any time.
No configuration is needed. Once the module is installed, the right-click options are automatically enabled for all List and Kanban views.
