Website Cart Quotation Features

Cart-to-Quote Configuration:

  • Provides settings to enable the quotation button on the cart, allowing customers to convert their carts into formal quotes seamlessly.

Customization Options:

  • Admins can configure settings related to the cart-to-quote process, including enabling options for cart, delivery, payment, and email notifications.

Minimum Order Amount Specification:

  • Allows the admin to set a minimum order amount required to generate a quotation, ensuring that quotes are relevant and actionable.

Warning Message or Quotation Hiding:

  • Just like a customer converts a cart to a quotation, he can also request a delivery estimate from the admin. Customers can select the delivery method during checkout and ask for a shipping quotation.

Website Cart Quotation Steps to Configure

  • Go to Website -> Configuration -> Settings.
  • Configure the settings to enable or disable the quotation feature at specific stages, including the cart, delivery, or payment steps. Specify the button label, set a minimum order amount, and choose whether to display a warning message or hide the quotation option when conditions are unmet.
  • Click the "Quote" button.
  • Go to Configuration -> Cart Quotation. Input the shipping price and apply a discount (percentage). Click the approve button to proceed with the process.
  • Navigate to My Account, Click on the cart quotation tab.
  • Display the 'Add to Cart' button, click it to proceed, and continue with the process.
  • Navigate to Settings -> Technical -> Email to view emails related to cart quotation status.

Navigate to Configuration -> Settings and click on Settings.

Cart-To-Quote Configurations

Enable or disable options for cart, delivery, the checkbox button, the pay now payment option, and email notifications.

Order Overview

The quote button is unavailable because the required minimum amount hasn't been reached.

Display Quote Button

Now that the minimum amount has been met, the quote button is visible; click it to request a quote.

Cart Quotation List

Access the cart quotation list and click on the view icon to see details.

Shipping Quotation View

Show the shipping quotation details along with a message indicating the status.

Select Option

Go to Configuration -> Cart Quotation and select Cart Quotation.

Show the list with detailed information and the status of each quote.

Approve Button

Enter the discount (%) to see the updated final amount, then click the approve button.

Turn off the hide checkout button, activate the hide payment now button, and choose the hide quotation option.

Select Shipping Method

Select your preferred shipping method to change the shipping charges, then click the quote button on the delivery page.

View Cart Quotation Details

Enter the shipping and discount (%) values, then proceed by clicking the approve button.

Shipping Cost Update

The updated shipping delivery charges are displayed, but the quote button is unavailable because the hidden setting is enabled.

Emails

Navigate to Settings -> Technical -> Emails to view emails related to quotation status messages for cart quotation requests and approvals with reference ID.
