Custom Price
Custom Price for Odoo allows customers to enter their own price directly on the website while maintaining strict minimum price control. This module adds a Custom Price configuration block in the product form to manage user-defined pricing with fixed or percentage-based limits. Administrators can define minimum custom price rules for products and product variants. The entered custom amount is validated in real time, reflected in the cart, and automatically transferred to the sales order. The module supports storable products, services, combo products, and single products. It is suitable for donation products, negotiable pricing, flexible selling strategies, and controlled discount management in Odoo eCommerce.

Custom Price Features
Custom Price Configuration in Product Form:
- Adds a dedicated Custom Price block in the product form where admins can enable/disable the feature, set minimum custom price, and choose Fixed or Percentage pricing type.
Website "Enter Your Custom Price" Field:
- Displays a custom price input field on the product page, allowing customers to enter their own amount before adding the product to the cart.
Fixed Minimum Price Validation:
- Prevents customers from entering an amount lower than the defined fixed minimum price by showing a validation error and blocking Add to Cart.
Percentage-Based Minimum Pricing:
- Allows admins to define a minimum percentage based on the sales price. The system automatically calculates the minimum allowed amount.
Automatic Cart and Sales Order Update:
- Applies the entered custom price in the cart and transfers the same amount to the sales order in the backend without manual changes.
Variant-Level Custom Pricing:
- Enables separate minimum custom price configuration for each product variant.
Custom Price Workflow
- Go to the product form and enable the Custom Price option.
- Define the minimum custom price as Fixed or Percentage.
- Save the product to apply the configuration.
- Open the product on the website.
- Enter the desired custom price in the input field.
- Make sure the entered amount is equal to or greater than the minimum price.
- Click Add to Cart to proceed with the selected custom amount.
- Complete checkout and confirm the sales order with the custom price applied.

Custom Price Configuration in Product Form
A dedicated Custom Price block is available in the product form. Administrators can enable or disable custom pricing, define the minimum custom price, and select the price type as Fixed or Percentage directly from the product settings for better pricing control.
Custom Price Field on Website
When the configured product is opened on the website, an "Enter your custom price" field is displayed with the defined minimum amount. Customers can enter their preferred price before adding the product to the cart.
Fixed Minimum Price Validation
Customers must enter an amount greater than or equal to the defined fixed minimum price. If the entered amount is lower than the minimum custom price, a validation error message is shown and the product cannot be added to the cart.
Custom Price Display in Cart
The cart displays the exact custom price entered by the customer, confirming that the selected amount is correctly applied before checkout.
Percentage-Based Minimum Pricing
Administrators can select the Percentage option and define the minimum percentage value. The system automatically calculates the estimated minimum price based on the product's sales price.
Automatic Minimum Price Display on Website
The calculated minimum price based on the defined percentage is automatically shown on the website product page for customer reference.
Variant-Level Custom Pricing
The Custom Price option is available at the product variant level, allowing administrators to configure minimum custom pricing separately for each variant.
