PayTabs Payment Provider with Refund Workflow
- Navigate to the Website -> Configuration menu.
- Open the Payment Providers sub-menu and configure the PayTabs payment method.
- Enter the profile ID and the secret key from your PayTabs merchant account.
- Add products to the cart and proceed to checkout.
- Select PayTabs Payment Gateway and the page will be redirected to the PayTabs payment page.
- Enter card details.
- On clicking the confirm button, the payment will be made successfully.
- To check the payment details:=> Navigate to Website -> Configuration -> Payment transactions.

Payment Providers
To configure payment options for online transactions, first, navigate to the website and select Configuration. Next, click on payment providers to access the available payment methods. Finally, select the Paytabs payment provider.
Profile ID And Screte Key
Select the paytabs payment provider to enable paytabs to process transactions. After enabling paytabs payment, enter the required credentials, profile ID, and secret key, on the payment providers page.
Enable Payment Method
Navigate to the configuration tab and have the admin click on "Enable Payment Methods." Once the feature is enabled, the name of the selected payment method will appear in the payment form section. Additionally, select the currencies and countries for online payment in the availability section
Paytabs From Payment Method
To proceed with online transactions, you need to enable the pay tabs payment option in the payment method settings. This allows customers to make paytabs payments during the checkout process.
Paytabs Payment Option
After selecting the products during the checkout process, proceed to the payment section. Here, select the Paytabs payment method for processing your online transaction.
Paytabs Card Details
After choosing the payment option, enter the card details, including the card number, expiration date, CVC code, and name. Additionally, select "Edit Shipping Info" and enable the option to use the same details as the billing information. Once enabled, the system will automatically populate the shipping fields with the entered billing details.
Payment Information
The payment confirmation is displayed successfully, indicating that the transaction has been processed. This message assures users that their payment was completed without errors.
Payment Transaction History
Access the configuration settings and select payment transactions to view the payment transaction history. This section will display all transaction records along with their current status for easy monitoring.
Transaction Details
View the complete payment transaction details, which include the paytabs transaction ID, paytabs transaction currency, and paytabs transaction status. This information provides a clear overview of the transaction for better tracking and management.
Paytabs Dashboard
Merchants can view transactions in the PayTabs dashboard, where each transaction is displayed along with its corresponding reference number. This feature allows merchants to easily track and manage their transactions. Accessing this information helps ensure efficient monitoring of payment activities.
Refund Process
Navigate to the Invoicing section and click on Customers. Then, select Payments in the menu to view the list of customer transactions. Click the button to initiate the refund process for the selected payment.
Refund Amount And Reason
After clicking the refund button, a refund popup will appear, displaying information such as the paytabs transaction ID, payment amount, and maximum refund amount. Enter the refund amount and provide a reason for the refund based on your preferences.
Refund Payment Transaction History
Show the refund payment transaction history along with their statuses on the payment transaction page. This information allows for efficient tracking of all refund transactions processed.

Display the complete refund transaction details, including the refund amount.
Refund Transaction In The Paytabs Dashboard
Merchants can view refund transactions in the PayTabs dashboard, each accompanied by its reference number. This functionality provides merchants with clear visibility into their refund activities. Having access to this information allows for effective tracking and management of refund transactions.
