The PayTrail Payment app ensures seamless integration with the PayTrail payment gateway, allowing businesses to accept various payment methods exclusively in Euros. Paytrail Payment Method & Refund Features
PayTrail Integration:
- Incorporates the PayTrail payment gateway to facilitate smooth online transactions and manage multiple payment methods through the platform.
Multiple Payment Methods:
- Supports a variety of payment options within the PayTrail platform, offering flexibility to accommodate diverse customer preferences.
Euro Currency Only:
- Processes transactions exclusively in Euros, ensuring compatibility with European market requirements and simplifying currency management.
Refund Processing:
- Offers the capability for both partial and full refunds, providing flexibility in resolving customer issues and promoting satisfaction.
Easy Refund Entry:
- Admins can swiftly input the refund amount needed, streamlining the process and reducing time spent on transaction adjustments.
Paytrail Payment Method & Refund Workflow
- Go to Configuration -> Payment Providers.
- Enable the Paytrail Payment Provider app.
- Enter the credentials (Merchant ID and API Key) by Paytrail.
- The app is set up and ready to use.
- For Paytrail Payment Transaction history:=> Navigate to Configuration -> Payment Transactions

General
Payment Providers
First, navigate to the website and select Configuration to configure payment options for online transactions. Next, click on payment providers to access the available payment methods. Finally, select the pay trail payment provider.


Payment Method
To proceed with online transactions, you must enable the partial payment option in the payment method settings. This allows customers to make pay trail payments during the checkout process.
Credentials(Merchant ID and API Key)
Select the Paytrail payment provider to enable Paytrail to process transactions. After enabling Paytrail payment, enter the required credentials, including the Merchant ID and API Key, on the payment providers page.


Support Currency & Country
Go to the configuration tab on the payment provider page and select the option to support only EUR currency. Additionally, choose Germany country to apply.
Paytrial Payment Option
After selecting the products during the checkout process, proceed to the payment section. Here, select the paytrail payment method for processing your online transaction.


Choose Payment Method
Once you have selected the Paytrail payment option, proceed to choose a card payment method for your transaction. This will allow you to process the payment securely using your preferred card.
Card Details
Enter the required card details, including the card number, expiration month and year, and the CVC code.


Payment Information
The payment confirmation is displayed successfully, indicating that the transaction has been processed. This message assures users that their payment was completed without errors.
Payment Transaction History
Access the configuration settings and select payment transactions to view the payment transaction history. This section will display all transaction records along with their current status for easy monitoring.


Transaction Details
View the complete payment transaction details, including essential information such as the Paytrail transaction ID, currency used, and transaction status. This information provides clarity on the payment process and assists in tracking transactions.
Refund Process
Navigate to the Invoicing section and click on Customers. Then, select Payments in the menu to view the list of customer transactions. Click the button to initiate the refund process for the selected payment.


Refund Popup
After clicking the refund button, a popup will appear showing the Paytrail transaction ID, payment amount, and maximum refund amount. Users can enter either the full refund amount or a partial amount based on their preferences.
Refund Payment Transaction History
Show the refund payment transaction history along with their statuses on the payment transaction page. This information allows for efficient tracking of all refund transactions processed.


Refund Transaction Details
Display the complete refund transaction details, including the refund amount.
