Square Payment Gateway Features

Refund Processing:

  • Admins can click on a payment ID and then select the "Refund" button to open the refund wizard. The product amount auto-fills and admins can specify the refund amount as desired. All refunds are tracked and recorded in the backend, transparency, and easy management.

Secure Payment Processing:

  • Customers select Square during checkout, then enter card details in a secure frontend form. Customers enter their card number, expiry, CVV, and zip code in Square’s secure form, then click "Pay Now" to complete the transaction.

Easy Setup & Activation:

  • Admins enable Square as a payment method, entering the application ID, access token, and location details. They can quickly activate or deactivate it from the backend.

Payment Confirmation:

  • Payments are processed instantly. Customers see success confirmation, and admins can view transaction details.

  • Merchants can view all payment and refund data on the Square sandbox dashboard, making reconciliation and management straightforward.

Square Payment Gateway Workflow

  • Admin selects the Square payment provider, enters the credential details (application ID, access token, and location), and then activates the Square payment option.
  • The customer proceeds to checkout, selects the Square payment option, and opens the secure Square payment form on the frontend.
  • Customer inputs their card number, expiry date, CVV, and ZIP code in the secure Square form. Then, tap "Pay Now".
  • Admin navigates to Website > Configuration > Payment Transactions to view the complete transaction history.
  • Admin can view payment transaction details in the backend and click on the Payment ID to view details.
  • On the payment detail page, the admin clicks the Refund button. Open refund wizard: The product amount is auto-filled, and the admin enters the preferred refund amount.

Square Payment Providers

On the Payment Providers page, select the Square payment provider to enable it for transaction processing.

Enter The Credentials

Select the Square payment provider to enable it to process transactions. Once Square is enabled, enter the required credentials, including the Application, Access Token, and Location.

Square From Payment Method

To proceed with online transactions, you need to enable the Square payment option in the payment method settings. This allows customers to make Square payments during the checkout process.

The customer chooses the Square payment option at checkout, which opens a secure payment form on the frontend. They then enter their card number, expiry date, CVV, and ZIP code. Finally, they tap "Pay Now" to complete the transaction.

Access the configuration settings and select payment transactions to view the payment transaction history. This section will display all transaction records along with their current status for easy monitoring.

After clicking the refund button, in the Maya refund wizard, the product amount is pre-filled for convenience. The admin reviews and enters the refund amount as needed.

Refund Payment Transaction History

Show the refund payment transaction history along with their statuses on the payment transaction page. This information allows for the efficient tracking of all refund transactions processed.

Display the complete details of the refund transaction, including the refund amount. In the Square refund details section, provide the Square transaction ID, transaction currency, and transaction status.
