Website Assign Customer Group Features
Customer Group Creation:
- Admin can easily create multiple customer groups, enabling effective segmentation for more targeted marketing and sales initiatives.
Single Group Assignment:
- Each customer can be assigned to only one group, with clear categorization and straightforward management of customer data.
Product and Category Restrictions:
- Limit visibility to specific products and categories for particular customer groups, personalizing their shopping experience based on their needs.
Price Visibility Control:
- Control the display of prices for certain customer groups, facilitating tailored pricing strategies while maintaining confidentiality.
Custom Pricelist Assignment:
- Admin can assign specific pricelists to designated customer groups.
Default Group Assignment:
- Admin can set a default customer group for all new customers.
Website Assign Customer Group Workflow
- Navigate to Website -> Configurations -> Settings -> Pre-order tab.
- Please note that these are global pre-order settings.
- Fill in the required pre-order settings like availability date, pre-order button text, timer settings and design, quantity limits, payment rule, etc.
- To enable any product for pre-order, go to the product page.
- Check the "Can be Pre-order" button. Go to the pre-order tab.
- If you want to override the global configurations, fill in specific values for this product.
- Save the settings.
- Check on the front end to see the changes.
- To view reports of pre-ordered products and notify me of form submissions, go to Website-> e-Commerce tab-> Pre-orders/Notify.

General
Customer Group
To access customer groups, navigate to Website, then eCommerce, and choose Customer Group. This section shows all current customer group lists and provides an option to create a new one.
Create Customer Group
Define new rules by forming distinct customer groups. Customize rules based on product categories, attach price lists, and hide prices for specific groups. Additionally, assign customers to their respective groups for better management.
User Page: Customer Assigner Overview
Go to Settings and select Users & Companies to check the groups currently assigned to customers. This section provides an overview of customer group assignments.
Website Configuration Settings
The default group is assigned to all new customers automatically. Guests will also belong to this default group for better organization.
Not Logged In
The 'not logged in' group is set to have no access to features by default. This means that customers must log in to gain any permissions within the system. This approach helps keep the system secure by limiting access to authorized customers only.
Customer Group List View
Our app creates two default groups upon installation.
Shop Page View For Not Logged In
Not logged-in customers do not have access to any features in the system. This restriction ensures that only registered customers can use the available functions.
Category Visibility For Login Customers on the Shop Page
A rule is in place to display only specific category products on the shop page.
Specific Product Rule
Visibility settings are configured to display only specific products selected for customers.
Rule Applied Successfully
Successfully applied the product rule to the shop page. This ensures that only the relevant products are shown to customers.
