Best for: the default experience

Three Chatter Positions

Put the chatter where you want it: Automatic, Sided (right), or Bottom. Pick it from a simple option in Preferences.

Colorful Chatter Theme

A cleaner, easier-to-read chatter: gradient header, colour-coded Send / Log note / Activities buttons, and styled messages.

Saved Per User

Your position is stored on your Odoo profile, so it follows your account across browsers and devices and never changes anyone else's view.

Step 01

Install

In Apps, clear the “Apps” filter, search “Chatter Position (Custom),” and click Install.

Step 02

Open Preferences

Click your avatar in the top-right corner, then open Preferences.

Step 03

Choose your position

In the Chatter section, pick Automatic, Sided, or Bottom.

Step 04

Save & refresh

Save, refresh the page, and your chatter moves. Every user sets their own no admin needed.
