Website Product Name

Overview

In odoo default the name given in product will be displayed in website. This module helps to display seperate name in website.

Configuration

Step 1:

Go to Website -> Products -> Products -> select any product.

Step 2:

Click on Edit and add a name in Website product name field to display in website.

The name given in website product name field will be displayed in website.

Question about module regarding URL slug, schema.org and v19

Hi,

We are considering using your "Website Product Name" module on Odoo Enterprise v18, and we are preparing an upgrade to v19.

I have three short questions about how the module behaves on the website:

1) When the "Website product name" field is filled, does the module also change the product name used in the URL slug on the webshop (for example /shop/product/<slug>), or is the URL still generated from the internal product name?

2) Does the module update the product name in the structured product data (schema.org Product), for example itemprop="name" and any JSON-LD or Open Graph tags, or does it only change the visible name on the page template?

3) Do you already have plans or a timeline for an official release of the module for Odoo v19?
