🖹 Request a Quote
|
A quote flow that fits right into your shop.
In plain terms, here is what the app adds:
| A "Request a Quote" button on the shop grid and product page that builds one quote like a cart, with a live counter in the header. | |
| Hide prices for the whole shop, a category, or a single product, all the way through to the shopping cart. | |
| A dedicated Request a Quote page where visitors review products and submit contact details. | |
| Every request lands as a draft Sales quotation, ready for you to price. | |
| Two emails on every submit: one confirmation to the customer, one notification to the admin / Quote Salesperson you selected in Website settings. |
It installs like any other Odoo app
Find it in Apps and install it. A Quote Requests section appears in your Website settings and a Quote Requests menu under Sales.

Turn it on from Website settings
Enable quote requests, set the button label, choose the sales team and salesperson, and switch the whole shop to quote-only, replacing Add to Cart with Request a Quote. Prices still show unless you also turn on Hide all prices.

Pick which products need a quote
You do not have to change the whole shop. Open one product, go to its Sales tab, and tick Quote-Only. That single product then shows Request a Quote instead of Add to Cart, and you can hide its price too. You can do the same for a whole eCommerce category, and the rest of your shop keeps selling as normal.

The Request a Quote page on your website

Build a quote like a cart
Clicking Request a Quote adds the product to a running quote list without leaving the page. A small confirmation pops up and a live counter in the header keeps the running total, so shoppers can collect several products and keep browsing.
odoo · shop · add to quote |
All your products in one quote
When they are ready, the Get a Quote link in the header opens the quote page with every product they collected. They adjust quantities, add their details and message, then submit it all as one request.
odoo · /quote/cart · review |
Request a Quote from the shopping cart
On a normal shop, buyers who already added products to their cart get a Request a Quote button right next to Checkout, so they can turn the whole cart into one quote instead of paying.
odoo · /shop/cart |
Customers track quotes in My account
Logged-in customers see a Your Quote Requests card in My account, so they can follow every request until you send the price.
