Overview
The Website Sale Geo Pricelist module automatically detects your website visitors' location based on their IP address and dynamically applies the corresponding product pricelist configured in Odoo. This enables you to show different prices and currencies to customers from different countries or regions.

How It Works
- 1 Visitor Arrives: A customer visits your Odoo e-commerce website
- 2 IP Detection: The module automatically detects the visitor's IP address
- 3 Location Lookup: IP address is resolved to country using GeoIP service
- 4 Pricelist Matching: System finds matching pricelist for the detected country
- 5 Dynamic Application: Appropriate pricelist is applied to the visitor's session
- 6 Price Display: All products now show prices in the correct currency and pricing strategy
Configuration
1. Access Configuration
Navigate to Website → Configuration → Settings → Geo Pricelist
2. Enable Module
Check "Enable Geo Pricelist" to activate the functionality
3. Configure Rules
Go to Website → Configuration → Geo Pricelist Rules and create mappings:
Country Group: United States → Pricelist: US Pricelist (USD)
Country Group: European Union → Pricelist: EU Pricelist (EUR)
4. Optional Settings
- Debug Mode: Enable to log location detection details
- Fallback Pricelist: Set default pricelist for unmatched countries
