Once all the information is filled out, you will be directed to the Twilio homepage.

If you upgrade an account, you will be directed to the customer profile creation page.

On this page, you need to enter your information, such as your name and phone number.

After upgrading, you will receive your Account SID and Auth Token.

Go to messaging -> senders -> Whatsapp senders -> Create new sender

Click the "Create New Sender" button if you need a Twilio phone number. You can either buy a number or use your own phone number. Enter the number with the country code and ensure that the mobile number has not been used previously on WhatsApp.

Link your WhatsApp Business account to Meta. If you don't have either of these, you need to create one.

To complete the business information, select your step, choose your WhatsApp Business Account, WhatsApp Business Profile, and phone number, then verify the number. Once all steps are completed, your account will be verified by Meta.

Messaging -> Content Template Builder -> Create new

Enter a template name, choose a language, and select the content type. Submit the request and wait for WhatsApp's confirmation.

Sequences 1 and 2 are dynamic variables, and they will come from Odoo.

Select either Utility or Marketing, then submit the request.

Once the approval was confirmed by WhatsApp, we could use the Template SID in Odoo.

Twilio Sale Configuration : Sale -> Configuration -> Twilio Configuration

In the Twilio Sale Configuration, enter the Twilio Auth Token in the "Twilio Account Token" field and the Twilio Account SID in the "Twilio Account ID" field. Then, enter the registered WhatsApp number with the country code and the Twilio Template SID in the "Template ID For Dynamic Text WhatsApp Message for Sale. The model should be selected as a sale order. If the variable is Many2One, select the corresponding model and their Many2One field. Values can be any field in a sale order (e.g.). Variable 1 was Customer Name (Deco Addict) in Sale Order, and variable 2 was Order Date in Sale Order.

Sale -> Orders -> Quotations

The "Send Text Only WhatsApp" button is located in the sale order form. When clicked, a wizard will pop up.

In this wizard, the template you can choose is a sale order. If the mobile number does not link to the customer, please add the mobile number along with the country code.

If you click the confirm button, the selected WhatsApp template with its value will be sent to the given WhatsApp number.

Twilio Invoice Configuration: Invoicing -> Configuration -> Twilio Invoice Configuration

Similar to the sale configuration, the same process should be followed in the invoice configuration. The model should be selected as a journal entry.

Invoicing

The "Send Text Only WhatsApp" button is located in the invoice form. When clicked, a wizard will pop up.

In this wizard, the template you can choose is Invoicing. If you click the confirm button, the selected WhatsApp template with its value will be sent to the given WhatsApp number.

Yes, the app works perfectly well with Odoo Enterprise as well as Odoo Community. Odoo Online (Cloud) does not allow installation of third-party apps and hence this app cannot be installed on Odoo Online.
