Discover our innovative module, designed to prompt users for reasons during backward stage movement of records. Configurable via General Settings, it seamlessly operates in both kanban and form views. Explore our video for enhanced clarity.

This feature enables users to request explanations when transitioning records to previous stages from both form and kanban views.

Incorporated within General Settings is a configuration option that allows you to specify models, enabling the customization of this feature for any kanban/form view containing stages.
How to use

To enable this feature, You can find the configuration inside Settings General Settings Stage Backward Step Reason.Once you open General Settings view search for "Backward Stage Reason" or you can scroll down at bottom and search for it.

Once the configuration is complete, navigate to the chosen models, open the kanban/form view, and attempt to revert any record to a previous stage. The system will prompt you to provide a reason before allowing the record to be moved back.

You can review stored reasons by opening the record and checking the chatter history.
Note

This module will only work with dynamic stages, such as in CRM and Task, and stage movements must be initiated from the kanban or form view.
