Install Helcim Payment Gateway
Once you have installed the Helcim Payment Gateway from the Apps menu, go to the main dashboard and navigate to Invoicing > Configuration > Payment Providers. In the list of available providers, locate Helcim and click on it to open its configuration form. Finally, click the “Activate” button to enable the Helcim Payment Gateway in your Odoo system.

Payment Acquirers
Generate and Enter API Credentials
To connect Odoo with your Helcim account, you’ll need to generate the following credentials from your Helcim dashboard:
- API Access Key – used for secure backend communication.
- JS Token – used for client-side (frontend) card input form.
Login to your Helcim Merchant Portal, and navigate to the Settings → API Access section to create a new API Access key and JS configuration.

Make sure to keep your API and JS keys secure. Do not share them
publicly or commit them to source control.
Enter Credentials and Configure Environment
After entering your Account ID, API Token, and JS File Token, click on the "Test Credentials" button to verify your integration.
If everything is set up correctly, Odoo will display a
"Nice! Everything looks fine” message.
This ensures your API connection with Helcim is active before using the payment gateway in production.

Accept Payments via Website, Invoice, Sale Order & URL

Customers visiting your Odoo website can select Helcim as a payment method at checkout. Once selected, the Helcim card form will appear directly on the website for seamless payment.

Send invoices to customers via email or portal. The customer can click the “Pay Now” button on the invoice view to pay using Helcim.

Payments can also be accepted directly from sale Quotations. Simply open a sale order and click "Send Payment Link" or let the customer pay from the portal.

Odoo allows you to copy a secure payment link from a Sale Order or Invoice and send it manually to your customer. Once they click the link, they’ll be redirected to a secure payment page to complete the transaction.
Checkout Page & Payment Confirmation
When a customer chooses Helcim and clicks “Pay Now”, the system opens a secure checkout form. This form is embedded using the Helcim JS token and allows the user to enter their card details directly.
Once the customer submits their card details and clicks the “Pay” button, the transaction will be processed through Helcim's gateway. If successful, a confirmation page is shown, and the corresponding invoice or sale order in Odoo will be marked as paid.
Once the payment is completed, Odoo automatically records the
transaction and updates the invoice or sales order status to
Paid.
