How to Use — 60 Seconds
Three steps. Then forget about it.
Install
Apps → search late payment → Install. Depends only on standard account + mail.
Enable in Settings
Settings → Accounting → scroll to Late Payment Reminders. Toggle ON. Optionally set sender email + min-amount threshold. Save.
Done
Cron runs daily. Customers with overdue invoices get reminders automatically. You see every send in the invoice chatter and "Reminders sent" column.
Customise rules & templates
- Rules: Accounting → Configuration → Late Payment Rules. Add, edit, reorder. Each rule has its own days-overdue + email template + optional CC + min-amount filter.
- Email templates: 4 ship by default (Friendly, Second, Urgent, Final). Edit them under Settings → Technical → Email Templates or via the rule's template field.
- Cron timing: defaults to daily. Change at Settings → Technical → Scheduled Actions → Late Payment Reminder daily sweep.
- Per-invoice opt-out: open the invoice, tick Disable follow-up, save. That invoice is permanently excluded from the cron.
- Manual send: open any overdue invoice and click Send Reminder Now — fires the next applicable rule immediately.
