Discount Scheme On Category Level
Overview
This Odoo module streamlines discount management by allowing users to set up and apply discounts at the product category level or directly in sales quotations/orders. Instead of adding discounts to each product individually, users can create discount rules for entire categories, making it easier and faster to apply discounts. This benefits both buyers and sellers by simplifying the discount process and saving time.
Key Features
Apply Discount: This feature allows you to create and set new discounts for product categories.
Check Discount: A check discount button to the sales quotation/order to check the discount available.
Category Discount Popup: This popup will show the discounted amount applicable to the products.
Sale order with Discount:The sale order will show the percentage of discount and the total amount after adding the discount.
After Installing the module
Navigate to the Product Categories menu in Inventory configuration.
In the Product Category form view, a new boolean field Apply Discount is enabled.
Create a new discount and enter the discount details.
Create a new sale order and click on the 'Check Discount' button to view available discounts for the products. If a discount is available for the selected products, a new popup will appear on the screen.
The category discount popup will display details such as the discount name, product category, discounted amount, quantity, and more. Click the 'Add Discount' button to apply the discount to the sale order.
The discounted percentage for each product and the total amount after deducting the discount will show in the sale order.
In the product category, specify the discount page with the margin only.
