Yes, the Mandatory Field Highlight module allows you to fully customize the appearance of required fields to align with your company's branding. You can select different colors for each border (left, right, top, and bottom) and the background of the mandatory fields. Additionally, you can specify the border width in pixels, with a default setting of 2 pixels. These customizations can be configured in the Settings → General Settings → Field Settings section of Odoo.
Q2. Will the highlighting of mandatory fields affect other views, such as list views, in Odoo?
No, the custom highlighting applied by the Mandatory Field Highlight module is designed to affect only form views. The module ensures that the styling changes are applied exclusively to mandatory fields within form views, leaving other views, such as list views, unaffected. This selective application maintains the integrity of other interface elements while enhancing the visibility of required fields in forms.
