Setup Instructions
Click on Xero
Connect Xero with Odoo
To connect your Xero account with Odoo, obtain API credentials from the Xero Developer Portal. Enter your app’s Redirect URI, copy the Client ID and generate a new Client Secret. Save the Client Secret immediately, then click Save in the top right corner.
Install Accounting Configuration
- Install or set up relevant accounting configuration to avoid issues in financial records.
- After entering details, click "Build Connection" to authorize your Xero account.
Select Organization
Select the organization you want to continue and click Save.
Successful Configuration
After successful configuration, you will see this page:
Import Tenant Data
- Select the tenant you want to sync and click "Import Tenant Data".
- Click the relevant tenant (e.g., TL).
- Click the button Import Tenant Data.
- Follow the numbering in the screenshot to avoid confusion.
Map the Odoo Taxes with Xero Taxes
- Select the Odoo Tax you want to map with the Xero tax
- Once the mapping is done.
- Click the button Map Taxes.
Export Data
To export sale orders, purchase orders, invoices, or payments, select the record and click Action → Export to Xero.

Sync Settings
- Enable data to sync (e.g., Purchase Orders, Bills).
- Select Operation Type (mandatory to sync data).
- Choose Sync Type: Custom Data Range or Scheduled Sync.
- If using Custom Data Range, specify From Date and To Date.
- If using Auto Scheduler, enable it and set interval.
- Click "Enable Execution" to start synchronization.

Redirect URL is used to authenticate your app with Xero using your Client ID and Client Secret.

Our module is compatible with both the Community and Odoo Enterprise.
