Borrow and lend on one loan engine
The standard Odoo Loans app handles money you borrow. This module extends it - reusing the same amortization schedules and auto-posted entries - so the exact same engine also handles money you lend out, plus the controls finance teams ask for next: approvals, collateral, fees, overdue tracking and statements.

Lending is borrowing, mirrored
Pick Lending on a loan and every generated entry flips sides: long-term and short-term receivables instead of payables, interest income instead of expense - including the monthly LT−ST reclassification and its reversal.

Approval workflow
Draft → Waiting Approval → Approved → Running. Managers get
an activity; confirmation is blocked in Python, not just the view.
Switch approval off per loan for the simple flow.

Counterparty on every loan
Track the lender or borrower, group and filter by partner, and jump
from the contact form to all their loans with a smart button.

Collateral register
Property, vehicles, deposits, gold, guarantees - with valuations,
insurance expiry, attached documents and a live coverage ratio

Processing fees, penalties, insurance premiums. One click posts the

Pick the direction
Borrowing or Lending. The account fields adapt - interest expense
for borrowing, interest income for lending.

Compute, approve, confirm
Use the standard compute wizard or Excel import, route through
approval, confirm once.

Done
Entries post themselves month by month; the loan closes itself on
the last payment. Overdue installments raise their hand.
