Overview
Advanced Chatter Filter & Search for Odoo adds a powerful search and filter bar above the chatter on any record. Quickly find messages, notes, emails, tracking logs, or activities using keyword search with highlighted matches, filters by type, author, date range, attachments, or starred messages. Save frequently used filters as presets, customize the chatter position, or hide it when not needed. Perfect for sales, support, project, and accounting teams working with busy records every day.

Go to settings and enable all settings shown in image.
Configure settings as shown below.
Go to sales and open any Order. you can see our advanced chatter filter.
Whaterver you search in that bar, it will be filtered and get highlighted in chatter.
Here are 5 types of filters:
- Message : Shows only messages
- Note : Shows only log notes
- Logs : Shows only logs
- Activity : Shows only Activities
- Email : Shows only emails
It filters chatter based on author selected in Filter, current Mac Demo had no message so its empty.
Filters chater based on date range is selected.
This functionality will show messages, which have any attachment with them.
It will filter stared messages in chatter.
- Newest first will show lastet messages at top, and in oldest it will show oldest first.
- Comfort/Compact : changes size of messages
- Preset : it can be used to save filters for later use.
