⚙️ Configuration Guide
Phase 1 - Install & Activate
Install the Module
Go to Odoo Apps, search AI Dashboard Builder, and click Install. Required Odoo dependencies (base, web, mail, bus) are handled by the installer.
Verify Python Dependencies
For Excel upload support, make sure Python packages requests and openpyxl are available on the server.
Phase 2 - Configure AI (Optional)
Configure AI Provider
Go to Settings > AI Dashboard. Choose one of 8 supported AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and more, including self-hosted endpoints), enter your API key, and pick a model with autocomplete assistance. All AI features work only after a key is set — everything else works without it.
Phase 3 - Build Dashboards
Open AI Dashboards
Open AI Dashboards from the main menu. Create a new dashboard, duplicate an existing one, or start from one of the 10 predefined demo dashboards.
Generate or Add Items
Use Generate with AI to build a full dashboard from a model, propose individual items, or create keyword-focused charts — or add items manually and fine-tune measures, group-by, domains, and date filters.
Arrange, Theme & Share
Enter Edit Layout mode to drag, resize, and arrange items. Pick a color theme, assign access groups, bookmark the dashboard, or set it as a home page. Export the finished board to reuse it on another instance.
