Toggle chatter

An icon button in the control panel hides or shows the chatter panel. When hidden, the form content takes the full width.

Drag to resize

A vertical divider between the form and chatter lets you drag to set the panel width. Double-click to reset to default.

Remembers settings

Visibility and width are saved per user in the browser. Your preference persists across records, pages, and sessions.

Mobile friendly

On narrow screens, the toggle and divider are hidden automatically. The chatter behaves normally below the form.

Step by step

1	Open any form view with a chatter Sales orders, invoices, contacts, projects — any record that has a chatter panel on the side.

2	Click the toggle button A small icon button appears in the control panel, next to the pager. Click to hide the chatter. Click again to show it.

3	Drag the divider to resize Grab the thin vertical bar between the form and chatter and drag left or right. Double-click to reset to the default width (530px).
