Take Mobile Money on your website — no card, no redirect off your site. The shopper picks Mobile Money at checkout, types their phone, and a request-to-pay prompt lands on their handset. They approve with their own PIN. The order confirms itself the second the rail says paid.

A real payment provider, not a bank-transfer note
This plugs into Odoo's own payment.provider framework, so checkout, the portal and invoices all behave exactly the way Odoo expects. No mockups, no renders.
Rail, amount, phone — that’s the whole page
This is the page your shopper lands on after checkout, and it ships in this app. The rail name and the exact amount sit at the top, the order reference under it, and one box for the phone number. No card form, no redirect off your shop — they type a number and approve on their own handset.
The banner watches the rail, not the callback
That coloured banner is not decoration. Every 2.5 seconds the page asks the rail directly what happened — callbacks are never trusted on their own — and it moves through sending → waiting → paid on its own. The moment the money lands the order confirms and the shopper is sent to the receipt page.
A wrong PIN doesn’t lose you the order
If the shopper fumbles the PIN or lets the prompt expire, the banner turns red and the button comes back as Try Again on the same page. They can resend to the same number or type a different one. Behind it a rate limit caps prompts at 5 per minute so nobody can spam a phone.
Link one rail — MTN today, Airtel next week
This provider screen ships in the Mobile Money Base engine app. Your checkout provider simply points at it and inherits the rail, the environment and the credentials — nothing is re-typed. Test on Sandbox, flip to Production, and adding a second rail never touches your shop.
Website orders land in the same list as the rest
Look at the Website order S00019 / S00020 lines — those are shop collections, sitting next to every other rail in one list with the amount, the receipt number and the state. This ledger screen ships in the Mobile Money Base engine app; this product is what feeds it from your storefront.
Every paid order carries its receipt number
Each confirmed collection is stamped with the receipt the rail returned, against the order reference — so a customer query is a search, not an argument. A single-use claim guards each success, so a double poll or a late callback can never mark one order paid twice.
Link a rail, flip it on
Install the Base engine plus a paid rail app (MTN MoMo or Airtel Money), then open Mobile Money → Providers and fill in the rail, the environment and your credentials. This screen belongs to the Base engine — do it once and every AminiTech Mobile Money product reads from it.
Go to Invoicing → Payment Providers → Mobile Money, pick the provider you just configured and set it to Enabled. That’s it — checkout, the customer portal and back-office Pay Now all send the shopper straight to this page.
