Export Shipping Documents
Export Shipping Documents is a comprehensive Odoo module designed for exporters who manage international sales and need to generate customs-compliant shipping and export documentation directly within Odoo.
This module enables seamless management of export sale orders, deliveries, and invoices, and able to print all mandatory export and shipping reports from Delivery Orders and Invoices.
It ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in export operations by centralizing customs-related information and automating document generation.

Mark the Order as an Export Order
- While creating a Quotation or Sale Order, go to the Exports tab and enable the option “Is Export Order?”. This step is mandatory to identify the order as an export order and to activate export-related features.
Fill Export Details in Delivery

Once the quotation is confirmed and the delivery
is generated, open the Delivery Order.
In the Exports tab of the delivery, enter all
customs and export-related details such as:
- Bank Permit No.
- Port of Loading and Discharge
- Final Destination
- Vessel / Flight Number
- LC No. and Many More
- Please ensure that the Exporter’s I.E. Code No. and LUT Ref. No. are also filled in the Company Master.
Create Invoice from the Order
- From the confirmed Sale Order, click on Create Invoice to generate the customer invoice. Select Regular Invoice and proceed.
Add Delivery to the Invoice
- After the invoice is created, click on Add Delivery Button and select the relevant delivery order linked to this sale.
- A delivery will be added only when the product and quantity are the same in both the delivery and the invoice.
Fill Export Details in Invoice
- Open the Exports tab in the Invoice and enter the customs and export-related details.
Print GST - Tax Invoice
- After verifying all invoice details, click on GST - TAX Invoice Button to generate the GST-Tax Invoice.
Print Export Reports from Delivery
- Go back to the Delivery Order and click on Export Report Button.
Select Required Export Report
- A popup window will open showing different export report options. Select the required report (such as Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Export Declaration, etc.) and proceed to print.
Handling Return or Re-Delivery Cases
- If the delivery is returned or a new delivery is created for the same sale order, a new invoice must be created manually
Add Returned / New Delivery to New Invoice
- Add returned delivery.
- Ensure the products and quantities exactly match the new delivery.
