Setup and filtering workflow
Follow these steps to enable the attribute filter, configure visibility, and start filtering products from Odoo's backend list views.
Enable Attribute Filter
Go to Inventory > Configuration > Settings > Products, enable Attribute Filter, and save your changes.
Once enabled, the attribute filter bar becomes available on the Products and Product Variants list views.
Configure Attribute Visibility
Open any product attribute and choose how it should appear in the filter bar.
Set each attribute to Visible to show it directly, Visible (More) to show it under the More option, or Hidden to exclude it from the filter bar entirely.
Filter by Attributes
Open the Products or Product Variants list view and use the filter bar to select one or more attribute values.
Attributes marked Visible appear directly in the bar. Attributes marked Visible (More) are accessible under the expanded filter dropdown.
Review Filtered Results
Combine multiple attribute values to narrow the list instantly and find matching products or variants without leaving the backend.
Each selected attribute value acts as an additional filter, giving you precise control over what appears in the list.
Install and configure
Install the module, enable the feature in Inventory settings, configure attribute visibility, and start filtering from list views.
1. Add the module
Copy atliis_attribute_filter into your Odoo addons path.
2. Update Apps
Restart Odoo with developer mode enabled and update the app list.
3. Install
Search for Product Attribute Filter and install the module.
4. Configure
Enable in Inventory settings, configure attribute visibility, and start filtering from list views.

Yes. The attribute filter is available on both backend list views for Products and Product Variants.
Can I control which attributes appear in the filter bar?
Yes. Each attribute can be marked as Visible, Visible (More), or Hidden from the attribute form.
