Installation & Usage
- Install the module from Apps (Python package xlsxwriter required for Excel export).
- Configure employee managers and parent / child departments in HR.
- Assign Organization Chart User or Manager groups as needed (HR Manager receives Manager access automatically).
- Open Employees → Organization Chart.
- Select the desired chart scope, explore the hierarchy, then print or export.
Guidance for Large Organizations
For large structures, start from a selected manager, filter by department, limit hierarchy depth, collapse branches while exploring, and export focused branches when needed. Use landscape output and depth controls for clearer printed charts.
