The BBTech Zoho Desk Connector provides enterprise-grade synchronization between Zoho Desk and Odoo Helpdesk. Synchronize support tickets with full conversation threads, attachments, agent assignments, and stage progression. Support teams can work in either platform while maintaining complete visibility.

Zoho Desk Connector Overview

A) Tickets & Issues Sync

Bi-directional synchronization of support tickets:

  • Zoho Tickets ↔ Odoo Tickets: Full ticket sync with all details
  • Subject & Description: Complete ticket content synchronization
  • Priority: Priority level mapping between systems
  • Customer Mapping: Link Zoho contacts to Odoo partners
  • Due Dates: SLA and due date synchronization
  • Custom Fields: Optional custom field mapping

B) Conversation Threads

Full conversation history synchronization:

  • Thread Sync: All conversation threads synced between systems
  • Customer Replies: Customer responses synced in real-time
  • Agent Replies: Agent responses synced bidirectionally

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does this work with Odoo Community Edition?
A: No, this connector requires Odoo Enterprise Edition because it depends on the Helpdesk module which is only available in Enterprise. The module is marked as non-installable on Community Edition.
Q: Can agents work in both systems?
A: Yes, agents can reply to tickets from either Zoho Desk or Odoo Helpdesk. Replies are synchronized in real-time, so customers receive responses regardless of which system the agent uses.
Q: How are ticket stages mapped?
A: You configure stage mappings in the settings. Each Zoho Desk status is mapped to an Odoo Helpdesk stage. When a ticket status changes in either system, it's reflected in the other.
Q: Are attachments included in sync?
A: Yes, attachments on tickets are synchronized. There's a configurable size limit (default 10MB) to prevent large files from causing issues. Files over the limit are logged but skipped.
Q: What OAuth scopes are required?
A: The connector requires Desk.tickets.ALL, Desk.contacts.READ, and Desk.settings.READ scopes at minimum. Additional scopes may be needed for full thread and attachment sync.
