Custom Title

The Custom Title Configuration module allowed users to personalize the title bar of
their Odoo interface and Point of Sale (POS) system with a company-specific title.

This enhancement replaced the default “Odoo” text displayed in the browser or POS
title bar with a custom title defined in the company settings.

It also supported multi-company environments, ensuring that each company could
display its own distinct title when active.

Configuration
Before the installation of this module, the title bar displayed the opens menu names.
After installation application, users were able to configure and
display a custom title for each company.
Go to Settings
Users & Companies
Companies, Selecte the desired company
In the "Document Title" field, and entered the required title (e.g., 'San Francisco').
After saving, the configured title (e.g., 'San Francisco') appeared in the browser’s
title bar.
Multi-Company Support
When multiple companies were activated, a checkbox labeled “Select Company for Document Title” became visible.
The company that had this checkbox enabled displayed its "Document Title" in the title bar.
Only one company among the active companies could have the
“Select Company for Document Title” checkbox enabled at a time.
If a user attempted to enable the checkbox for another company while one was
already active, a "validation message" appeared to prevent multiple selections.
Point of Sale (POS) Integration
To apply the same custom title configuration in the POS interface:
Go to "Point of Sale
Configuration Settings.
In the "Custom Title in POS" section, they enabled the checkbox “Enable Custom Title in POS”.
When “Enable Custom Title in POS” was enabled and the company’s “Select Company for Document Title” checkbox was true, the company’s custom title appeared in the POS title bar.
If no company had “Select Company for Document Title” enabled and the user tried to enable “Enable Custom Title in POS”, a validation warning appeared.
