- Install Birthday SMS from the Apps menu (free â no dependency on Bulk SMS).
- No separate install or purchase required for Birthday SMS.
Configuration and Usage Guide
Setting up a contact

On any Contact, fill in a phone number and a Birthdate. The "Days to Birthday" field updates automatically and counts down to their next birthday.
The daily automation

A Scheduled Action named "Send Birthday SMS" runs once a day. It searches for every contact with a phone number and a birthdate matching today, and sends each of them the birthday SMS.
- You can also trigger it manually from Settings → Technical → Automation → Scheduled Actions with "Run Manually", which is useful for testing.
What the customer receives

On their birthday, the contact receives an SMS wishing them a happy birthday, along with any offer you've configured in the template.
- Edit the wording from Contacts → Configuration → Birthday SMS. Use the
{customer}placeholder to include the contact's name.
Editing the message template

The configuration screen shows a live preview of exactly what the contact will receive, so you can see the result before saving.
